Itinerary Expand All Close All

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives, who will be responsible for getting you transferred to your hotel. Further plans and programs will also be explained to you. You can have rest and do your own stuff on this day.

In the early morning, we get ready for our journey and get into a tourist bus for Syabru Besi. It approximately takes 7 hours to reach there, which is also the gateway for Langtang Valley. The road or path from Kathmandu valley to Syabru Besi is hilly with a high hill, providing spectacular views of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and many more peaks in the Langtang region. The way passes through the Trisuli River and can be considered as a totally scenic drive.

Today is our first trekking day. Starting from Syabru Besi, which is a common trekking starting point for the Langtang Valley, we head towards a viewpoint about 2 hours of trek. The viewpoint allows us to capture the mesmerizing view of Ganesh Himal, the Gosainkund range, and the Goljang Valley. After spending a little time in viewpoint, we make our way towards Goljang Valley (downward) and have our lunch. Further, in about 3 hours of trek from Goljang valley, we will reach Gatlang village (a beautiful Tamang village in Langtang Region.

In the early morning, after having breakfast, we initiate our trek towards Tatopani (Natural Hotspring Water). The trekking trail begins by descending to Thangbuchet, where we will take our lunch. After some rest, we continue our trek heading upward, crossing a hanging bridge. We then climb to get onto our today’s destination, i.e. Tatopani. You can enjoy the natural hot springs, bath, and play with water here, which is very much enjoyable and adventurous, as claimed by our previous trekkers. The hot spring water here comes straight out of the ground and is believed to have healing capacity, easing pains and aches, according to locals. We will stay in Tatopani this day.

Today, we will be trekking to the highest point of this trek, i.e. Nagthali Danda (3,300m-10826ft). Nagthali Danda is a high ridge with open grassland and subsequently provides panoramic views of the high Himalayas. After some hours of trek, we will reach Briddim village and have our lunch there. We, then continue our trek towards Nagthali Danda, where we can taste masala tea made by the caretakers of Gompa (Monastery).finally, after some hours of our trek downward from Nagthali Danda, we will reach Thuman, another beautiful Tamang village in Langtang Valley. you can observe and enjoy the song and dances of native Tamang People in their local language.

After breakfast at Thuman, we continue our trek with a fine flatter trail and descend to Timure. We then follow the old trade route to Tibet, which somehow provides historical vibes of Nepal. After a few hours of our trek lunch, we make our way towards Briddim. Briddim is another beautiful Tamang village, perfectly suited for Homestay. In this village, you are provided with accommodation, lodgings, and food. Villagers of this village make their own local home available for a homestay on a rotational basis. This is a perfect opportunity to deep insight into Tamang culture, traditions, beliefs, and lifestyles. You will surely be surprised by the warm hospitality provided by them and wish to stay there some more days.

TToday is the final day of our trek. After about 3 hours of trek downward, we will reach Syabrubesi, the starting point of this trek. The trekking trail is easy and short, so we can make our way slowly with exploration around the trail. After reaching Syabru Besi, we will rest and relax for a while. In Syabru Besi, you can see some shops selling local handicrafts made by women. Those handicrafts include colorful aprons and shawls, which are completely made or designed in the local style. You can buy them if you want.
