Kathmandu Pokhara and Chitwan Tour - 6 Days

It is an interesting day as we will lead you to four key UNESCO-listed cultural sites of this city—Kathmandu. We will provide you with a certified professional city tour guide and a private vehicle to make your city tour informative. You will be visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati, Bouddhanath, and Swoyambhunath.

By late noon, you will be in Thamel where we will once again discuss upcoming activities, the Pokhara tour, and the Chitwan trip.

We will reach Pokhara by bus and it is a scenic drive of nearly six hours following Prithvi Highway. The ride is really pleasing as you will be riding along the bank of Trishuli and Marshyangdi River. And, to ensure this enjoyment, we will fetch bus ticket of ‘B’ side.

The view of mountains before entering Pokhara will melt your heart. It’s is really impressive and will make a deep impression in your heart forever.

Upon your arrival in Pokhara, we will transfer you to the hotel where you can get fresh before enjoying a walk-in lakeside—Phewa Lake—in the evening.

Today’s tour is full of excitement. We will drive you to Sarangkot 1,600m-5249ft early in the morning to catch the sunrise. The beauty of mountains—Annapurna 8,091m-26545ft and Dhaulagiri 8,167m-26794ft—as sunrays hot them will melt your heart. We will drive you back to the hotel for breakfast.

Paragliding is another adventure that you will be experiencing today. And to have this hovering experience we will once drive you to Sarangkot as it is the site for this adventure. You will share the sky with birds for nearly half an hour and make this moment a matter to cherish forever.

After this, we will drive you to a couple of touristic sites of Pokhara such as Peace Stupa, bat Cave, Mahindra Cave, Devi’s fall, and so on.

In the evening, we suggest you experience boating in Phewa Lake. The view of Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre Himal) witnessed while boating will drive you speechless.

After breakfast, we will leave Pokhara for Chitwan. It takes nearly three hours to get to Chitwan. The national park, Chitwan National Park, derives its name from the name of the district where it is located—Chitwan.

Upon your arrival in Souraha, the staff from the hotel (where you will be accommodated in Chitwan) will pick up you and drive you to the hotel. After tea/coffee, your nature guide will brief you about the events and activities that you will be experiencing today and tomorrow.

Today, you will get an opportunity to witness Tharu culture. Tharu are the indigenous people who regard themselves as jungle people and are natives of the area. Tattooing is one of the interesting cultures of Tharu people.

This is the most exciting day of your Chitwan trip. Why? Because…

1. You will penetrate the jungle with a nature guide to witness Tiger, a one-horned rhino along with other wild animals.
2. You will visit the crocodile and elephant breeding center.
3. Canoeing in Rapti River is a wonderful experience.
4. The grazing rhino in the premises of your hotel is awesome.
5. Visit Tharu Museum.

The hotel will drop you at Saouraha bus park where you will catch a bus to Kathmandu.

In the evening, we will offer you a farewell dinner and share your experience so that we can improve ourselves based on your assessment.
