Annapurna Panorama Trek - 8 Days

Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport, our representatives will pick you up with a warm welcome to our country. We will get you transferred to your hotel with a detailed explanation of plans and programs for making your trip possible as well as preparation for the trip. You can have rest in the hotel and roam around the city this day.

Today, we will leave Kathmandu valley after breakfast for the scenic drive to Pokhara. It takes approximately 6 hours to reach Pokhara valley. During the industry, you can see cultivated terraced fields, rocky gorges, rivers, green valleys, and typical Nepalese life. However, Pokhara valley is considered a heaven city. It is the most popular city in Nepal and is regarded as a natural paradise as well as a mountain viewpoint, as you can have a clear view of the Himalayas including Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and many more peaks in the Annapurna range. Moreover, you can also enjoy boating in Phewa Lake, surrounded by the vast panorama of the Himalayas range and lush hills. 

Today, we will be trekking to Tikhedhunga. To start the actual trek, we should take a drive to Nayapul via private vehicle, which is about 42 kilometers from Pokhara valley. The trek from Nayapul to Tikhedhunga is a short and easy walk, which is perfect for trek startup. The trekking trail passes through Lumle village, Birethanti, and Modi River. We will be walking through bamboo woods, a large cascade, and climb gradually up beside the valley to reach Hille. A short hike from Hille, we will finally reach Tikhedhunga. Tikhedhunga is the final destination for today and we will spend the night there.

Today, we will leave Tikhedhunga and make our destination towards Ghorepani. We should trek through the steep climb to reach Ulleri village, situated at an elevation of 2,070 meters and is a big Magar village. From Ulleri, the path ascends slightly passing through beautiful oak and rhododendron forests, leading us to Banthanti. After some rest at Banthanti, we will walk to Nangethanti and Ghorepani (2,840 meters). From Ghorepani, you will be rewarded with the spectacular vista of Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna I, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, and many more mountain peaks. 

This is the most important day of this trek because we are visiting Poon Hill, the ultimate viewpoint in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. We will begin walking early in the morning to reach Poon Hill and witness the first ray of the sun over the Himalayan giants like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), Annapurna ranges,  Machhapuchhre (6,997 meters), and many more peaks. After exploration and capturing the ultimate sunrise view from Poon Hill, we will return back to Ghorepani. After some rest, we will start our trek to Tadapani, which goes through a beautiful rhododendron forest, which is colorful and really gazing. After some hours of trek, we will reach Tadapani. Tadapani is another popular spot to have a hot spring bath as well as an amazing viewpoint of stunning Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Himchuli. We will spend our night here in Tadapani today. 

From Tadapani, the trekking trail descends through forests to Ghandruk (a beautiful village of Gurung people). From Ghandruk village, the easy walking downhill trail will lead us to Kimche. From Kimche, we will drive to Pokhara. 

Today, we will return back to Kathmandu valley. You can see the enjoyable sight of the river gorges, mountains, rustic settlements, and terraces from the left side of the bus. After reaching Kathmandu valley, we will transfer you to the hotel. You can relax and have the rest of the remaining day.

We will take you to the airport before 3 hours of your flight.
