Pokalde Peak Climbing, proudly standing at the elevation of 5,806m-19048ft above sea level. It is one of the most carefully designed Trekking Trails in the most popular Khumbu Region of Nepal. Climbing Pokalde Peak is considerably taken as one of the most difficult peaks to be climbed because of constituent appearing challenges and obstacles in the journey. It is most common to face some challenges and difficulties in such a Peak Climbing journey, but proper climbing training and physical fitness allow tackling upcoming obstacles and make your journey completely adventurous and explorative.

However, Pokalde Peak falls in group B, by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), and is considered the most demanding peak to be climbed. Especially, the Peak Climbing trail follows the completely unfrequented trail in the backdrop of the towering Himalayas, providing you with unique exploration and offerings. The first ascend to Pokalde Peak was made via the cliff, which is connected to Kongma La Pass (5,535m-18159ft) with a peak, and it was made in late 1953.

Pokalde Peak Climbing journey is the most fascinating trip towards the countryside and mountainous region of the country. The scenes and views you were eager to capture in your whole life are going to be fulfilled on each day of this trek. Our journey completely lies in the backdrop of Himalayan ranges in the eastern part of the country. The Pokalde Peak Base Camp is considered an amazing creation of nature, which lies just below the Kongma La Pass. Kongma La Pass is considered one of the highest passes of the Everest region, at an elevation of 5,535m-18159ft from sea level, housing a beautiful glacial lake in the middle of the pass. The base camp and the summit of Pokalde Peak are just 650 meters apart, so it won’t be much trouble to summit the peak after reaching the base camp. But, still, you have to face some challenges and thrills on the way to the summit of the peak. Touching the summit of the peak is our only mission in this journey, leaving behind all the explorations and adventures on the trekking trail.

Best Mountain View From Pokalde Peak

However, from the summit of the peak, you can capture magnificent views of high peaks like giant  Nuptse (7,861m-25790ft ), Lhotse (8,516m-27939ft), Ama Dablam (6,812m-22349ft), and many snow-capped peaks in the Everest range. Considerably challenging paths and lots of explorative and adventurous deeds add more beauty to this journey. This is a brief description of our overall journey towards the summit of Pokalde Peak and returning to Kathmandu valley (1,400m-4593ft).

You can start the Pokalde Peak Climbing journey with a scenic flight to Lukla (2,860m-9383ft), as usual in most journeys in the Khumbu Region of Nepal. From Lukla, you can start your actual trek and follow the way passing through Phakding (2,610m-8562ft), Namche Bazaar (3,440m-11286ft), Everest View Hotel  (3,880m-12729ft) (Hike and back to Namche Bazaar), Tengboche (3,860m-12664ft), Dingboche (4,410m-14468ft), Lobuche (4,950m-16240ft), Gorakshep (5,164m-16942ft), hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364m-17598ft) and Kala Pattar (5,550m-18208ft), and again back to Lobuche, Pokalde Base Camp (4,400m-14435ft) via Kongma La Pass (5,535m-18159ft), High Camp (5,000m-16404ft) and finally to the summit of the peak at 5,806m-19048ft). From the summit of the peak, we will be trekking back to Chhukung (4,730m-15518ft), following the way through Tengboche, Monjo, and finally, Lukla finishing the trekking trail. From Lukla, a scenic flight will take you back to Kathmandu valley.

Best Time For Pokalde Peak Climbing

Moreover, the Pokalde Peak Climbing journey does not require any climbing equipment, which is good for beginner climbers. Besides, you must have climbing experience or must have completed long-distance trekking, to bring easiness to this trek. Along with sufficient experience and knowledge, you must be fit and be prepared mentally as well as physically, which reduces the difficulties in the journey and allows exploring more and more in the lap of the Himalayas. The best season for this journey is autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May). At this time, the climatic condition is favourable and stable, which makes the journey easier and more explorative. Also, you can see the dramatic creation of nature further and beyond the trail with the blossom of beautiful flowers and plants.

Moreover, We, Northern Trekking Team (NTT), are the leading trekking company in Nepal (a country full of attractions and beauties) with 16 years of experience organizing, managing, and conducting different tours and trekking programs in Nepal. Apart from Nepal, we also organize completely memorable, explorative, and adventurous tour/trekking programs in different regions of the world like Tibet, India, Bhutan, and so on. Focused on creating a significant platform for memorable trekking and tours throughout the world, we only want the satisfaction of the clients (visitors) rather than benefiting us, which is the core reason for us to achieve huge success in a short interval of time.

However, in this particular package (Pokalde Peak Climbing), we have included the Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour, as your starting (or warm-up) day tour. The cuteness of the trip is amazing as we have already received maximum positive feedback from our previous clients. This first-day trip mainly focuses on the enriched cultural and religious heritage of the country. The Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Pashupatinath Temple, the Temple of Swayambhunath, and the Bouddhanath Stupa are the main World Heritage Sites listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Starting from the early morning, you will be visiting cultural sites, mostly of Hindus and Buddhists. The Kathmandu Durbar Square consists of ancient old palaces, buildings, temples, and statues from earlier (medieval) times. The buildings are built in unique Nepali architecture and contain amazing wood-crafting, stone masonry, metal works, and intricate carvings done on their doors and windows. Pashupatinath is considered the most sacred temple of Lord Shiva and the cremation ceremony of the Hindus can be seen along the Bagmati’s riverbank. Bouddhanath is the largest Buddhist Mandala in the world and the Swayambhunath lies at the top of a hill, which is sacred to both the Hindu and the Buddhist people.

In conclusion, we are proud of being the most recommended trekking agency in Nepal and heartily welcome our clients to explore the extreme beauty and adventure of our country. Identifying the desires of our valued clients to chill in the nature and structure of the country, we do also manage adventurous and thrilling outdoor activities for making the trip more valuable and memorable. bungee jumping, Paragliding, Rafting, and Canyoning are the most highlighted adventurous games in these outdoor activities. These activities have the supreme power to deepen insight into undisturbed forms of nature and their beauties and eventually excite you with adventure and thrill at once, providing overwhelming unforgettable memories for your lifetime.
