The 11-Day Nar Phu Valley Trek starts from Besisahar – the starting point of Annapurna Circuit or drives up to Koto where you can start your trek. The trekking trail passes through the rugged mountainous route of Meta and Kyang which gives you the experience of the real Nepal, which opens up to the valley from where you can be surrounded by the Annapurna, Manaslu, and Dhaulagiri making you speechless. It covers the Tibetian Chortens, colorful prayer, and stones which are followed by the canyons and gorges. Starting with the beautiful journey from Kathmandu to the Annapurna circuit route, Koto. You can experience the world’s most dangerous road that starts from Besisahar to koto where you will be staying tonight
Today we will be starting our trek in the early morning from Koto to reach Meta. The trekking route passes through the beautiful woods, where the trail passes through the narrow canyon under the wide waterfall which leads you to the steep hill from where you can enjoy the view of the snow-capped mountain and the Meta lies just beyond the steep hill.
Enjoying the morning in Meta trekking in the mountainous region is about to begin. We will follow the Trekking trail from where the Tibetian Chortens, monasteries, and ancient pilgrimage are insight until reaching the Phu Village.
Since the Phu is located at an elevation of 4080m-13385ft it’s good to spend an acclimatization day in Phu. Today you can explore the native culture of Phu and hike up to Himlung Himal Base Camp as well and have a chance to see the blue sheep in the wild.
Follow the same trail back to Nar Phedi where you will be staying tonight. Nar Phedi holds the culture and tradition of Tibetian people that migrated from Tibet. You can visit the monasteries and Gompa.
There are a lot of magnificent views to capture while you are hiking up to Nar from Nar Phedi. You will get a chance to pass by the side of beautifully painted bamboo-topped Chortens. Nar Village is a historic ancient village. They offer good food and lodging.
Today we have to reach the elevation of 5,240m-17191ft to cross the Kang La pass so we will start our trek in the early morning before sunrise. The trek route is not that hard but because of the elevation, it would feel difficult. On Reaching the village of Ngawal you will get to enjoy the beautiful village of the Tibetan plateau.
Trekking from Ngawal to Pisang could take a short time but you can enjoy the village near Pisang called Ghyaru from where you can enjoy the scenario of the different mountains and hike downward to Pisang from where you can drive back to Besisahar and stay in a comfortable hotel.
By holding tons of memory we will be driving back to Kathmandu which will take around six hours. You will be fascinated by the culture, tradition, charm of the people you encounter, magnificent and majestic views of the mountain range and the beautiful ancient village. On reaching Kathmandu you can enjoy the city life of Nepal.
