Langtang Gosaikunda Trek starts with a scenic drive to Syabru Besi (1,500m-4921ft) from Kathmandu valley. Our drive journey follows the Trisuli River, north of Kathmandu, passing through Trisuli Bazaar and Dhunche to Syabru Besi. Syabru Beshi is a Sherpa village located at the edge of the Langtang National Park. The trekking trail from Syabru Besi follows the way passing through Lama Hotel (2,560m-8398ft), Langtang Village (3,430m-11253ft), Chorkari Ri (5,050m-16568ft), Kyanjin Gompa (3,860m-12664ft), Lama Hotel, Thulo Syabru (2,200m-7217ft), Sing Gompa (3,250m-10662ft), Gosaikunda, Lauribina Pass, Gupte, Kutumsang, Chisopani, Sundarijal, and finally back to Kathmandu valley. This amazing and carefully designed itinerary will allow you to cover all the attractions in the Langtang Region of Nepal with overall scenic as well as mountain views.
We will visit Kyanjin Gompa, where you can taste the local yak cheese. As we make our way through Nubamatang, you can view the glaciers, which mark the gateway into Tibet, enclosed in a hidden valley. Further, we trek through Syabru and Sing Gompa to a high plateau towards sacred Gosainkunda Lake, which is a much clear lake and attractive, also sacred to Hindus and Buddhists.
However, Langtang with Gosaikunda Lake Trek will allow you to capture magnificent views of Mt. Today is the first day to start the trek. We start our trek after breakfast in Syabru Besi towards Lama Hotel. After walking for about 6 hours, we will reach our destination, i.e. the Lama Hotel. We will stay at Guest House to spend night. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.

In the early morning, we will head towards Chokari RI, the highest elevation of this trek. It is just a pass towards Kyangin Gompa. However, you can observe the panorama of beautiful mountain peaks. We will visit Kyangin Gompa and stay there today. The trekking duration is approx. 8 hours. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
From Kyangin Gompa, we will trek down to Lama Hotel again. The total trekking duration is about 6 hours. We will stay at a guest house in Lama Hotel. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Today, we are heading towards Thulo Syabru. The walking duration is about 6 hours. Overnight at guest house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Trek to Sing Gompa from Thulo Syabru. Visit Sing Gompa and capture natural and mountain sceneries all around. Sing Gompa is a Buddhist monastery and is a spiritual hub of Buddhists. Trekking duration is about 5 hours and the guest house at Sing Gompa. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Today, we will be visiting Gosaikunda Lake. The water in the lake is so much crystal clear and is surrounded by hills from all sides. The lake has its importance from a religious point of view too and hence receives thousands of pilgrimage every year. Trekking duration is about 6 hours and overnight stay at the guest house. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Today, we will be trekking through Lauribina Pass and trek downward to reach Ghopte. Passing through Laubina pass may be difficult because of high altitude and inclined slope but the view and sceneries from there are worth of being there. Trekking duration is 8 hours and overnight stay at the guest house at Ghopte. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
In the early morning, we will make our way towards Kutumsang from Ghopte. Walking duration is about5 hours and overnight stay at the guest house in Kutumsang. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Trek to Chisopani from Kutumsang. Walking duration is 6 hours and overnight stay at the guest house in Chisopani. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Today, after breakfast in Chisopani, we will head towards Sundarijal. From Sundari Jal, we will return back to Kathmandu valley by our private vehicle. Sundarijal is much near to Kathmandu valley and within 30 minutes of the drive, we will be in Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu valley, we will transfer you to the hotel. While you’re in Kathmandu, your accommodation is at a standard hotel (Arrival time and departure time). Your accommodation is at best local Lodge and Guest Houses where available. There is a large dining hall and warmed fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lighted.
Eating is a big part of the Holiday. Traveling with Northern Trekking Team, you experience the vast array of wonderful Nepalese food, Italian, Thai, Chinese, and several local foods. While on the trek it will be on full board all 3 times meals (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, with Tea/Coffee) included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic special food during your trips. Generally, choose menu items are Nepalese meals (Dal Bhat), Tibetan fried bread, various types of soups, Momo’s (steamed dumplings), boiled and fried potatoes, kinds of pasta and even pizza. So, overall you have a different choice of foods on the trek. During this trek, you will usually have breakfast and dinner at the same guest house.
You should book the service at least 15 days before the trek departure date. After you confirm your trip with us, you should be transferring us a photocopy of your passport or your personal information. The personal information you have to provide us your first name, middle name, and last name, passport number, date of birth, nationality, and gender. Importantly, you need to pay 20% of the total price in advance for the domestic flight tickets and hotel booking and permit process. You can pay the remaining balance before you start the trek.
How much money or cash you should be bringing with you depends on how you do the trip and the number of days you want to spend here in Nepal. Much also depends on your spending habits.
