In addition to the incredible cultural experiences on offer, the stunning views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest itself, make this trek all the more rewarding. For these reasons and many more, it's easy to see why this 16-day journey is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The best time to visit Everest Base Camp and take on the Everest Lower Trek is between October and November. During this period, the skies are generally clear, providing perfect conditions for taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery. The weather tends to be milder as well, making this a great time of year for taking part in strenuous activities such as trekking. Additionally, October is considered to be the best month to spot endangered wildlife species in Sagarmatha National Park, such as musk deer and red pandas.

Furthermore, the busy tourist season ends around mid-October; meaning you won't have to worry about crowded trails and lodges.
