I recently had the pleasure of embarking on the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with Northern Trekking Team, and it was an experience I will never forget.
From the moment I first contacted Northern Trekking Team, I knew I was in good hands. Their team was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all of my questions and providing me with all the information I needed to prepare for the trek. When I arrived in Nepal, their team (Mingmar) was equally accommodating, ensuring that all of my needs were met and that I was comfortable throughout my entire journey.

In October of 2019, I traveled to Nepal and did the EBC + 3 High passes trek. Sange Ghising was my guide and did an amazing job! His English was good and he helped me to achieve my goals when I didn't think that I could go any further. What a great guide! The Everest region is beautiful and should be on everybody's bucket list. I can't say enough good things about my trip!

This is the most affordable and worth it trekking company! The experience with them was so amazing and proffesional. MingMar our guide are very friendly and nice person. He cares about our health and condition during the trekking. I have been checking many others trekking company but this one is the best with an awesome team.
I did ABC trekking with them and it was so memorable, even it's heavy snow they can make it to bring me there till the ABC. They provide the duffel bag, trekking stick, jacket and poloshirt for free. Really appreciate! Hope can make it again with another trek with them one day.

Hi,
I went for solo trecking with Mingmar to Poon hill treck.
I was not very strong at the beginning but Mingmar showed patience and was supportive until I got stronger. Everything on the way was well organised. Clean rooms and nice huts. We were talking about different things mainly experience in the mountains. Mingmar is friendly and has a good experience.
I would recomend his service to everyone.

I'm all about the EverestBC tour. The guide Mr. Mingmar you very much understands his job. He is a resident here and so he knows everything like his palms. Very good accommodation. The food is also varied. Patient and helper Mr. Mingmar and his very good humor blessed man. I am always pleased with my journey to Everest. I hope you still meet. If you don't know which tour operator to start, I recommend this company with a calm heart. You won't be disappointed 👌🤞👏🥰

Mingmar is a friendly and professional guide who helped make our first visit to Nepal and the beautiful Himalaya's a truly wonderful and enjoyable experience. Not only did we feel completely safe with his knowledge and guidance, up at the high and exposed altitudes that we were trekking. But he also went the extra mile behind the scenes to ensure all the other aspects of our trip, including the accommodation and meals etc were all as good as they could possibly be as well.
I hope to return to Nepal some day and look forward to joining Mingmar and the Norther trekking team again..

We trekked to EBC with Mingmar. His leadership made this the trip of a lifetime and left us excited to get back to take in some more time in the Himalayas and the Nepalese culture. We're going back in the spring to climb Mera Peak with Mingmar and wouldn't have it any other way.

Namaste. Mingmar and porter team (Tshering, Prem, Ram) are simply the best. Very helpful, attentive, friendly and did all they could to make our group feel comfortable throughout the rigorous trekking trip. I engaged Mingmar’s service in December 2017 and immediately had no doubt to use his service for the second time in June 2018. For his team’s support, we managed to reach EBC checkpoint and returned safely. Highly recommended.

I have hiked with Mingmar 4 times now (Annapurna, Everest, Lantang, and Manaslu) over 5 years and each trip gets better. Nepal itself is amazing, but having a good guide can help make the experience even more magical. Mingmar and his team know the best tea houses to stay at, all the mountains and wildlife, and make sure you have a safe, fun, and memorable journey all while at a competitive price compared to other companies! Well, the trip was perfect, we were lucky with the weather window but also with the organizer and its team.
We did in 11 days the following: Namche, Dole, Gokyo - Gokyo RI, Dragnang, Cho la Pass, Lobouche, Gorak shep, EBC, Kalla Pattar, Dingboche, Chukung, Island Peak and back to Lukla, more than 160km in Sagarmatha national park.
That was possible thanks to the flexibility of the organizer that managed to cope with our demanding in a constructive manner. We got a very good guide with solid alpine experience that made us reach the summit of Island Peak almost before sun rise :)
Accommodation during the trekking + summit equipment were great, included in the package, same with the night in the island peak base camp: good tents, nice mattresses and good food all included.
These guys from Northern Trekking made us feel not as clients but as their friends. Thank you, Mingmar, Sange, Nima and so on for this memorable journey we had this October.

We wanted adventure, and we got it! But we also wanted it to be safe and enjoyable, and Mingmar made it so! Trekking with my family to Gokyo Ri, across Chola Pass en Everest Base Camp was great. Mingmar and his team got us there and back. Climbing a real mountain was my lifelong wish and Mingmar was there to cheer me to the top.
Mingmar was our guide, but became our friend.

I did my Everest base camp trek in September/Oct. It was great experience. Mingmar was always very helpful and he has a sweet nature and great attitude which helped a lot in rather sharp conditions of Himalayan trek. He ensured we walk in a right pace so we don't get altitude sickness. He helped us with replacement of our sleeping bag which got lost at the airport, offered a jacket when one of the trekkers got cold. Also the places we were staying in during the trek were clean and had great food. I wasn't hungry at all, I even didn't lose any weight although I was walking a lot.
He became our friend and we keep in touch still. We planning to return one day to do other treks.

We have just completed the everest base camp trek and words cannot describe it, its simply out of this world! the scenes are incredible and our guide nurbu sherpa was incredible, if you ever had an issue nothing was too much effort. super friendly and also had a cracking sense of humour! highly recommened to anyone looking to take on any trip in the Himalayas.

We did not plan our trek through Northern Trekking Team however we did the Everest Base Camp trek with Saroj prior to him joining this team.
Our experience with Saroj was better than we could have expected. He was helpful and mindful of us and our needs the entire trip. He made changes along the way to ensure we got the most out of the adventure and we left feeling like we have a new friend and we still remain in touch with him. If he is the caliber of guide on these trips then I can not recommend them more highly.
