Starting and establishing an adventure company is not suffice, where every trip can be enjoyable and delightful to make your trips with us much successful, but one needs to follow some of our rules and guidelines with companies Terms & Conditions so that there won’t be misunderstanding and confusing after booking and joining the holiday with us and this makes every trip with Northern Trekking Team a winner with much-satisfied clients and customers.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
First step sending Northern Trekking Team filling in with detail form that we provide includes detail of your passport with expire dates, most important the trip of your interest, and then sending a transfer minimum of 30% advance trip payment, which is non-refundable to secure your booking well in advance.
On receiving your details of the following document like a passport with scanned or photocopy, along with booking forms, then we will send you a full confirmation letter with a deposit as well as a receipt of advance trip payment.
You can contact us for direct transfer to deposit in our bank account and as well with Credit Card payment, we do accept Visa / Master Card or any other safe and widely used Credit Card with an extra 04 % surcharge as levy charge.
TRIP BOOKING, CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHARGES:
Trip cancellation should be made within a minimum of 14 days before you arrive in Nepal and must be made in complete writing for the reason of the cancellation of the trip.
Cancellation will be valid only when received by Northern Trekking Team and the Trip will be termed as canceled with a charge of 35 % which will be deducted from your advance payment.
No refund entertained on Cancellation Notice after than 14 days, and if one quits the trip for whatever reason and purpose, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
The Company will, therefore, will not refund or reimburse you in such situations.
Somehow, if prevented from traveling by a genuine cause and circumstances, like examples, death, injury / serious illness, which might include your close relative or friends, redundancy (jobless) or jury service, you might be compelled to postpone or transfer your trip to another person, provided one meets all requirements relating to our related trip chosen and must accept.
PASSPORT & VISAS FOR NEPAL:
Obtaining Nepal Visa is easy where you can get from your home country in the Nepalese Embassy or Consulates, where you must have a valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity. Nepalese visas also can be obtained at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal on arrival.
BHUTAN TRIP BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
To book Bhutan trips, one must send us TRIP BOOKING FORM within a minimum of 30 days with 60 % Payment well in advance as per person.
For direct deposit and transfer in our bank account, please contact us, as we have the right to cancel your trip in case you do not pay on time or other unforeseen reasons.
Northern Trekking Team accepts Visa or Master Card with extra surcharge 04% levy will be added as a processing fee.
In some urgent and emergency cases, we do accept your last minute booking before 14 days on your arrival date.
BHUTAN CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHARGES:
There will be no refund if one cancels the trip or leaves the trip for any whatsoever reason. There will also be no refund for any meals, accommodation or services not used. If you are prevented from traveling, there will be no refund either. You do not have to transfer or postponing options as the Bhutanese government has strict Tourism policies.
Bhutan Visa– A client must have a passport with at least 6 months’ validity. As you are unable to obtain a visa to Bhutan, you need to send your passport details to us for visa applications at least a minimum of 40 days before you arrived in Nepal.
TIBET CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHARGES:
Cancellation notice is to be sent 20 days before our trip departure date and should be in writing. Cancellation shall be valid only after the approval from us and after the deduction of 50% of the trip amount send to Northern Trekking Team as advance payment.
There will be no refund to clients who provide cancellation notice in less than 20 days. There will also be no refund to clients if he or she leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, Northern Trekking Team will not entertain with refunds.
If you are prevented from traveling by a genuine circumstance, for examples, death, injury or serious illness of the passenger, close relative or friend, redundancy or jury service, you may postpone or transfer your trip to another person, provided he or she meets all the requirements relating to that tour. A fee of $100.00US per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than four weeks before a trip departure date, if less than 30 days, there will be no refund.
TIBET PASSPORT & VISAS:
You must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the return date. As you are unable to obtain a visa to Tibet, you need to send your passport details, for this, requires your passport at least 20 days before your departure date.

For credit card payments, 3.5% extra will be levied as a credit card processing fee.
RISK AND LIABILITIES:
All Nepal and Bhutan and Tibet trip under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of respective countries. Northern Trekking Team will not be liable for any change or cancellation of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like change in rules and regulations of the respective country of travel, government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, breakdown of the vehicle, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such items shall be carried by the clients themselves. Therefore, travel insurance is highly recommended.
POSTPONE THE TRIP:
The recorded notice should be sent to us 30 days before the trip departure date.
In case of postponing of Nepal trips, a minimum USD$ 150 will be charged as a current trip cancellation charge and the remaining amount will be transferred for the postponed trip.
The Company is not liable for any refunds or compensation in case of any incomplete tour, trek or expedition whatever the reason.
If your journey gets canceled due to any sudden situations like natural disasters or unfavorable climatic conditions, we will arrange another trip for you. So, even if your trip will be not the one you choose, your money will not go in vain.
YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
Northern Trekking Team is not liable for any damage or loss of your luggage or property. They are at your own risk.
In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour which compels you to leave Nepal, and the company will not refund you the amount paid.
With us with no age bar or limit, but children under 16 yrs must be accompanied by responsible parents or guardian, similar for an elderly person of more than 70 years of age needs to be accompanied by close friend or relatives the area of trekking and tours as per different age groups trip differs.
SPECIAL DITES AND MEDICATION:
People with a certain problem on diet and medication, should bring your medication as per your doctor’s advice with meals please inform us in advance regarding your routine of diets and we will provide accordingly.
Please remember while traveling with us all clients will be connected as one good family, where everyone should understand and co-ordinate, and we might use pictures of the trekking and tour with you in it, for company promotion via various means like websites and brochure, in this case, there should be no misunderstanding of the copyrights and accept that the company does have the rights to advertise.
